Candidzone is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Project Engineer specializing in Oil & Gas and Marine Infrastructure to oversee complex industrial civil works. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution, planning, and coordination of critical marine and onshore infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will combine strong civil or marine engineering expertise with robust project controls experience to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in full compliance with stringent industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day construction activities for marine infrastructure and industrial civil works within Oil & Gas environments.
• Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules, critical paths, and progress baselines utilizing Primavera or MS Project.
• Prepare comprehensive technical method statements, job safety risk assessments, and execution procedures to ensure flawless operational compliance.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks or schedule variances, and implement effective mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Act as the primary technical interface between construction teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to drive seamless stakeholder alignment.
• Enforce rigorous health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on-site, ensuring absolute adherence to international Oil & Gas safety protocols.
• Compile and present detailed engineering progress reports, resource utilization charts, and project KPIs for senior management and client review.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Marine Engineering.
• Experience: 8 to 10 years of professional experience in marine infrastructure and industrial civil works. This must include a strict minimum of 5 years dedicated directly to Oil & Gas projects.
• Technical Skills: Highly proficient in project planning and scheduling software, specifically Primavera (P6) and/or MS Project.
• Core Expertise: Proven track record in project controls, progress monitoring, construction coordination, risk assessments, and technical writing (method statements).
• Status & Availability: Must be locally available in Qatar with a valid Qatar ID (QID) and prepared to join immediately.
• Skills: Exceptional communication, leadership, and multi-party stakeholder coordination skills under high-pressure project conditions.
