Candidzone is a leading recruitment and HR solutions provider in Qatar, connecting top talent with reputable organizations across various industries. We are currently seeking an experienced Applications Specialist – Systems Operations (SharePoint) for a leading client in Qatar.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise application support, Microsoft SharePoint, systems operations, application integration, and business requirements analysis, with the ability to support critical business applications and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and maintenance for enterprise applications
• Troubleshoot application incidents, performance issues, and operational problems
• Administer and support Microsoft SharePoint, including configurations, workflows, and integrations
• Monitor application performance, availability, and system health
• Support application development, testing, implementation, and enhancement activities
• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
• Develop test cases and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Integrate applications with existing systems for seamless data exchange
• Coordinate with IT teams, business users, vendors, and consultants
• Prepare technical documentation, user guides, FAQs, and system manuals
• Support end-user training, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure confidentiality and security of business and application data

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 4–6 years of experience in enterprise application support, systems operations, or application management
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SharePoint
• Knowledge of application development, integration, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting
• Experience with Java and/or Python
• Good understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Strong business analysis and requirements-gathering skills
• Experience with data analysis and visualization
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Certifications:

• Certified Associate in Software Engineering (CASE)
• Agile / Scrum Master certification
• Relevant programming or software development certifications
• Microsoft SharePoint certifications are an advantage
