Job brief

We are seeking a meticulous and highly qualified QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality assurance and quality control operations for demanding Oil & Gas and marine civil projects. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing comprehensive quality management systems across specialized activities, including marine concrete rehabilitation, HDPE installations, and underwater works. The ideal candidate will possess a strong civil engineering foundation, comprehensive documentation expertise, and a proven track record of securing client inspections and approvals in high-hazard environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enforce day-to-day QA/QC procedures and quality management systems across all site operations, including concrete rehabilitation, HDPE installation, structural coating, and specialized underwater works.
• Prepare, meticulously review, and maintain all project quality documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Material Inspection Reports (MIR), and Work Inspection Requests (WIR).
• Plan and conduct regular site quality inspections to verify that all civil and marine works conform strictly to project specifications, engineering drawings, and international standards.
• Act as the primary quality interface, coordinating effectively with project management, field execution teams, and client inspectors to secure timely approvals and closeouts.
• Monitor on-site material storage, construction methodologies, and specialized coating processes to ensure complete quality compliance.
• Identify non-conformances, issue corrective action requests, and lead root-cause investigations to prevent reoccurrence.
• Support internal and external quality audits to maintain strict alignment with international quality benchmarks.
